Participation at course ”Soft skills for educational provider” Prague, April 2011
Between 3rd to 9th of April 2011, Rescue Humanitarian Foundation ‘ psychologist Horea Nistor has participated at a course in Prague ”Soft skills for educational provider”, cource financed by European Comission through Grundtvig Programme section Grundtvig In-Service Training for Adult Education Staff.
The course has aims: Improving communication skills of staff working in the field of adult education; Fostering the communicative processes within adult education structures generally in order to improve the quality of their internal and external communication; Improving the communicative competence of lifelong Learning organizations in order to encourage the effective development of working processes; Improving and increasing the cooperation between organizations involved in adult education throughout Europe; Exchanging experiences and good practices among people coming from different countries who work in the same field.
The course lengts 5 days in total 40 hours of teaching and has structured into 8 modules: Module 1 – Communication and the Science of Kinesics; Module 2 – Personal Communication Skills; Module 3 – Interpersonal Communication Skills within the Hierarchy; Module 4 – Problem Solving Skills; Module 5 – Presentation Skills; Module 6 – Project Management Skills; Module 7 – Negotiation Skills; Module 8 – Cumulative Communication Skills and Multi Tracking.
The activities were included presentation of trainer and also of the participants, task and exercises, role play, debates.
At this course participated four persons from two countries: Romania and Portugal.
This course has a huge impact to my professional development and helps me in future activities with special needs persons. Also, I succeed to create a contacts network that will help me to develop future partnership projects in the domain of Life Long Learning.
