RESCUE - CENTER FOR SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT OF THE PEOPLE WHO ARE IN PRISON

 • PROJECTS - Grundtvig project

The objectives of The Grundtvig Project, C.E.E.US - Communication – Education – Empowerment Unites Societies are to promote the active citizenship. Our presumption is that people with special needs do not have access to a proper education so that they acquire the social skills needed for social adaptation. Through our project we aim at endowing the beneficiaries with those skills required for personal and professional development. English language knowledge, computer skills, the growth of self esteem, exchanges and sharing knowledge will be developed through interpersonal communication. During the motilities we look forward that the beneficiaries experience the direct communication, the intercultural exchange and self-growth.

The beneficiaries of this project are people with special needs aged between 18-30, among them being unemployed persons, people with disabilities, former inmates, people coming from socially disadvantaged areas, people with poor education.

We have started the Grundtvig Project, C.E.E.US - Communication – Education – Empowerment Unites Societies, carried on in partnership with Latvia and Sweden.

We have formed the beneficiary group with which we have had weekly meeting in order to know each other and get familiar with activities we are going to carry on. During these meetings they practiced and improve their social skills and communication skills. At the moment, the project’s continues with the improvement of English knowledge of the beneficiaries and at the same time with the development of their computer operating skills.
