Sin and its destructive effects

OnApril 23, 2013 a group of five young people from Elim Pentecostal Church Cluj-Napoca accompanied by pastor Nicu Cristea and brother Gog Daniel, got impatient in the car to go to visit Aiud Penitentiary. Besides youthful enthusiasm, good humor and willingness to serve were increased by sun  who rises higher and higher in the sky. Finally spring has come!
Animated by love for the Lord Jesus in our hearts and thought thatwe'llrevisitour friends in detention, the wayappeareda few minutes.... So we came to prison. The prisoners were already present in the room and waited for us. Some of them lookedsurprised to us because they participated for the first time in our program. After we played with zeal song "A clean heart O Lord, brother Daniel Gog told us about righteousness and holiness of God. Then  pastor Nicu Cristea shared some thoughts about the process and purpose of Jesus' suffering. He talked about the sin of envy highlighted by examples from Scripture. He also stressed that our lives can be rehabilitate by Jesus the Savior  and relieve us the sin that has so destructive effects, although it is often ignored.
At the end of the program we sang again with joy'' A clean heart  O Lord "to express our desire to have pure hearts and also for implementing the song in our memories.
After that we had juice and cake and said goodbye to our  prisoners friends and we returned to everyday things.
Lord keep us in His grace until next visit.
