Evangelization week in Maximum security Penitentiaries in Aiud and Arad

During 17th and 21st of October, the Humanitarian Foundation Rescue organized a week of evangelization in the penitentiaries in Aiud and Arad. At the program attended Christian brothers from Danmark, France and Belgium together with our foundation’s volunteers from God’s Army in Cluj-Napoca, Pentecostal church no.1 in Dej and Pentecostal Church Betel in Arad.
The group of foreigners, besides their messages from the Holy Bible, shared their own experiences had in their Christian life. Unusual, besides the big groups of prisoners (75 people), there were small gatherings with the prisoners in the maximum security, that allowed us to better know the participants. During one of the services, the Service of Psycho-social Assistance offered us a very pleasant surprise, a theater act, on a religious theme, written and interpreted by the prisoners. The play was about the fight between good and evil inside of any person.
The people that are deprived of liberty that have participated at our program of evangelization received Christian literature (books sponsored by the Logos Publishing House, Arad) and a stamped envelope to sustain the liaison with their families.
