RESCUE - CENTER FOR SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT OF THE PEOPLE WHO ARE IN PRISON

 • Aid activities performed or supported by Rescue

  1. In the week 26 -30 September Rescue Foundation’s members with volunteer have developed a program aimed to provide support for children from disadvantaged families in Pata Rat and Sinnicoara to help them to continue school.

  2. Our collaboration with Christian Aid Ministry continues. Christian Aid Ministry donated us goods that consists in: Centrum Multyvitamins, Ludens cough drops, dental floss, and other items. These will be distributed to the medical cabinets from Gherla, Aiud and Arad Penitentiaries. Thanks to to anyone that had, and still support us in the ministry.
  3. On the occasion of Christmas, Rescue Humanitarian Foundation offered gifts to 800 persons in detention at Aiud and Arad Penitentiaries. Funds which were allocated to every penitentiary were not sufficient so, they couldn’t cover the entire costs for needs of persons who live in privation and considering that these persons were not in relation whit their families, we had the initiative to help these persons to complete their indigence whit our gifts.
  4. This year the celebration of Christmas in Aiud Penitentiary was special because Rescue Foundation was there to offer presents and the surprise was to receive a nice present from inmates: a group of inmates prepared some carols for Rescue and our collaborators.
  5. It's has been a while since Rescue Foundation started the first time to make Christmas presents for the inmates in Aiud and Arad Maximum Security Prisons who lost contact with their families. I do not know if you have ever thought about what this work means because what people see are a few photographs and an activity report.
  6. In collaboration with  “International Apostolic High School” , Rescue Foundation have donated 25 tape recorders with head phones and specific furniture for the English class courses organised within the Aiud Penitentiary.
  7. Arranging the painting workshop In Aiud prison for recreation activities.
  8. In collaboration with  “Prison Fellowship Romania”, Rescue have donated computers and school articles within the reeducational sector in Aiud Penitentiary
  9. Rescue Organization, in collaboration with the Apostolic Church from Kolding, Denmark, have equiped a stomatologic cabinet in Aiud Penitentiary>
  10. Rescue Organizatation, in collaboration with „Farmers for Christ” Assotiation from Denmark, have donated agricultural machineries within a agricultural Denish- Romanian project displayed in 10 Romanian localities. >
  11. In collaboration with „ Prison Fellowship Romania”, Rescue Foundation have donated two buses, one to the Minors' Reeducational Center in Craiova and one to the Aiud Penitentiary. >
  12. Rescue Foundation also have donated hospital beds, bedside tables, bandages, consumables articles, mattresses and breast prosthesis to the following medical institutions: the County Hospital in Cluj , The „ Dominic Stanca” Hospital in Cluj, The Clujana Hospital In Cluj, the Eldery Home in Cluj, etc.>
  13. Donations in clothing and shoes to: the No 2 Special School for retarded children, the „ Pinochio” Daily Child's Recuperation and Rehabilitation Center and the „ Tandarica” Daily and Residential Center.>
  14. Donations in computers and school furniture to: the Primary School in Sannicoara, the „ Axante Sever” School no 3 in Aiud, to the „Ovidiu Ulea” Primary School no 1 in Aiud. >
  15. Donations in clothing, shoes and toys for the poor families.>
