On the occasion of Christmas, Rescue Humanitarian Foundation offered gifts to 800 persons in detention at Aiud and Arad Penitentiaries.
Funds which were allocated to every penitentiary were not sufficient so, they couldn’t cover the entire costs for needs of persons who live in privation and considering that these persons were not in relation whit their families, we had the initiative to help these persons to complete their indigence whit our gifts.

As a consequence of the implementation in 2007 on the Aiud Penitentiary of the program “Developing parental abilities”, by our foundation, we organized on the occasion of winter holidays an aid action. The aid action consisted in the donation of 34 packs to mothers who were in detention in this penitentiary; each mother received a gift to donate herself to her child. So, each mother had the occasion to experience the skills she learned during the program: to exercise responsibility, to give and receive affection, to strengthen the mother and child relationship.

We express our gratitude to everyone who gave a positive response to our requests: Autoworld, Christian Aid Ministries, SC Feleacul SA, Cluj International Women`s Club, Rondocarton, Asociatia Silver Lining, dr. Dorica Sabou, Kolding Apostolic Church, Amagerbro Free Church, Herning Christian Center, many privat people from Denmark, and, last but not least, the group of voluntaries who helped us prepare the gifts.
